30 Day Challenge Update: Squats, Push-ups & Abs

Ok so I just wanted to post a quick update on my the three 30 day challenges I started a month ago – I did not finish…AGAIN… Whomp whomp!

I was a little busy with the weekly radio shows that I have going, my day time career and being a great mom. I know, no excuses! But it was really hard juggling all of this.

I can say that I did make it half way through the challenge. Even though I didn’t complete the challenge, I did build back up my upper body strength and my abs! My arms look great and so do my abs even though I am slacking!

Starting this Monday, I am going on another 30 Day Challenge. This time it will be my own unique challenge. I will work out at least 10 minutes per day to start and gradually increase the time as I go. They say it takes 21 days to create a habit so if I do 30 days straight of working out (taking one or two days a week off of course), I will be back in the swing of things.

I think when I commit to challenges when I already have such a hectic and stressful schedule and life, which contains tasks that are non-negotiable, it just discourages me. I am an all or nothing type of person so if I feel like I can not give something my all and be 100%, I will just quit.

For now, I will just try going with the flow, focusing on low impact exercises and cardio to burn some of this fat I have accumulated over the last five months. It is not much fat, but it is way more than when I worked out six to seven days a week for an hour and a half per day consistently.

If anyone out there has any tips or would like to share their experiences, hit me up!
