Fitness Journey Rebooted: @KiatheCEO Daily Freestyle Jump Rope Challenge!
In the last few years, I went from running five days a week for fun and killing my 5K in under 30 minutes time, to running out of excuses for why I haven’t worked out. However, I have been jumping rope almost every other day as a fun way to stay active and burn calories since my recent birthday. For every 10 minutes I jump rope, I have been able to burn about 100 calories. With that said, I decided to reboot my fitness journey with a daily freestyle jump rope challenge!
Since they say it takes 21 days to create a habit, I am committing to jumping rope for 15 minutes a day for at least 30 days straight. However, I am not structuring a routine yet because I do not want to delay or discourage myself. And if I have time and energy I will include some full-body calisthenics or hit my home gym for strength training and toning.
In order to hold myself accountable for doing this daily, I will include social proof of my work in this challenge so stay tuned for pictures and videos of what happened along my Journey
Day one of the @KiatheCEO Daily Freestyle Jump Rope Challenge officially starts Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, 2020. Let’s see how long I can keep this going!😆
